I have 200 Heros, and it is down right frustrating adding 3 hero's at a time to look for that weapon im storing on one of them.
There needs to be some better way to look at all your hero's inventory panel.
Mabe a new window that would just display the heros names and what their holding..

*Hero Inventory*
1. Norgu [Deldrimor Javelin][Amethyst Aegis]
2. Goren [VeraHammer][Victo Bulwark]
3. Talkora [Embercrest Staff][Kaykitt's Focus]
4. Ogden [N/A][Rose Focus]

This list would continue down for every hero you had, on that character. There wouldnt need to be stats, just the name of the item the hero is holding. So if you knew you had a +30 Health Shield mod,(on a shield) but forgot which hero on what character you left it on, you would know at a glance what hero to go looking for it on.

Not a very good enough reason to put Arena Net's time into. It's O.K. but it isn't the very best idea of the century.

combined with the facts that its not high on Anets list of "things to do", that they are "too busy, working on GW2" and this is a relatively rare issue with your average player i dont think that the chances of seeing an idea like this of being implemented is high.

That being said you might as well go the whole way and ask what people would REALLY like and not a semi-compromise.

in this case:

1. visible from Character selection screen, when you click on the character you wish to play with the heroes you have unlocked on it pop up as portraits with names at the bottom, mousing over them will show their equipment in full as well as their current build.

2. Ingame inside your inventory screen there would be an extra button, your "hero inventory". Clicking on it opens a new tab which displays all your heroes (via portraits) and their equipped items with the names in full as well as mods.

double clicking the portrait sends you to their inventory.

you can manually rearrange the display order by clicking and holding or use an auto arrange feature (ABC, TYPE, etc).
